Auto-Rotate Goalies in Be A GM?

I have Auto Rotate Goalies set to ON in my GM Mode, but Holtby has started all 12 games thus far. I also couldn't find any indication that he or any of my other players were tired over the coarse of the season.

Does Auto Rotate Goalies work? And do players even get tired over the coarse of the season? If not, then what's the point of rotating goalies anyway?

I think auto-rotate is broken. I used it when I started playing BaGM, and it was going fine until about the 4th game of the year. I noticed Svedberg was starting, which was fine. Rask needed a break. Excellent.

However, the next game, Rask was out again. And then again. And again.. It seemed as if Svedberg took over as the main goaltender..

So I eventually just turned the option off.

I noticed this last night. I had an injury and let my assistant handle the bench. They swapped in my backkup goalie as the permanent starter.

I thought it was funky since my backup was starting and it was only the 2nd game of my BeaGm.

I've had the same problems. I've gotten to the point that I like both of my goalies enough anyways that I manually swap them out nearly every other game unless someone gets on a big hot streak.

I don't know if the game performance relies on hot/cold streaks or not, but in my own fantasy world I like to think so

This maybe true....hot/cold streaks. For a while, i couldn't score in a 50 cent cat house. But when i finally scored a few, it just seemed easier to.

My backup has started three games in a row subsequent to my starter wetting the bed. I'd guess it's at least partially performance-based so if you haven't seen your backup in 12 games maybe it's because your starter is playing really well?
