New draft update and GM mode

Do I need to start a new GM mode to get the new draft update or will it update the feature into my existing GM mode?

From what I've heard, it is updated into current Be A GM saves.

This. However, I did restart my GM mode because I wanted to start fresh with the update, as well as the last tuner update. Revamped some sliders to try to find a nice feel for realism.
