It takes forever to play a season and I do not like to sim. You play games to play not watch the computer.ea needs to know people do not have time for 82 game season over multiple years

I've been asking for this for years now. It's probably the main reason a lot of GM connected leagues failed.

I do miss 36 game seasons. Made everything much faster. The simming seems to take forever too.

This would be great to have. No doubts about it.

Also bring back that live sim feature or whatever the called it. So I could watch the game sim one period at a time. I found myself alot in an 82 game season simming games up to the 3rd period. Made for some cool game scenarios to stick myself into and some good challenges. Notihng like popping into a game with the 3rd period left, down 2 and trying to come back.

A bit off topic but....if i understand right, with the Show, you can now transfer files from one years release to the next? I would love to have this in NHL.

That's correct, Vikes. MLB The Show allows you transfer your franchise/season/RTTS files from 14 to 15. It's a great addition. Still a few bugs to work out but at least we now have that option.

On-topic, I'd love to see adjustable seasons in the NHL series, but we've been asking for this for years now (for me, going back to NHL 09) and there's no indication it's even on the radar for being added to the game.

Agreed 100%. One of the major reasons I haven't bought the game since '08.

Adjustable season length has been in sports games since forever. The only reason it isn't in NHL is EA's stubbornness to force us to play the game the way they want us to play it.

There should be options for a 41, 29 and even 15 game (just play intra-conference).

No question about the on-ice action needing work, but this should be an easy addition, you would think.
