Re: NHL 16 Early News Tracker

Quick summary of Event Two by GameChanger ThatPope from the EA Forums:

Kick-off - lead developers and rammer going over their plans for the upcoming game and how they used some of our feedback from the first event.

Then got to go up to their studio and see some of the new gameplay additions and how they can tweak the animations and fine tune things.

Then basically went back down to a board room setup with 10 consoles and tvs and played the game for the next 1.5/2 days, having discussions on very specific things in between games and giving our general feedback. They had the ability to tweak and tune different values and push those changes to the consoles right away and we could test out the changes.

Lots of developers around coming in and out, there was 9 of us so they took turns playing and being the 10th man. They took lots of notes, just like the first time.

I would hope one does... I can't say that I am expecting it. I will post it in the thread as soon as it comes to my attention.

I haven't heard anything, nor will we hear anything until EA gives out some info. That could be as early as E3 (very doubtful though, that's just for flair) and as late as the week before release (more likely).

Re: NHL 16 Early News Tracker

I think it's important to note who they selected for the cover vote, there is clearly a focus of defense this year based on Burns, Giordano, and Lundqvist being the 3 candidates.

To me that hints at improvements to the defensive AI and goalie play. The goalie play was noted as being improved by Ohhwayy the Game Changer here: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...0&postcount=24

To me these are key changes that would make me a lot more interested in NHL 16, especially with Ohhwayy hinting at massive improvements to GM mode and EASHL being back in force.
