Do you think it's because the NBC pre game stuff wouldn't work if I had a team in Hartford of because there's no interest?

Do we know for sure that it's not in?

Also I would assume it's because they have prioritized the more demanded features. Better gameplay/more animations on ice as well as the big one... EASHL.

they didn't advertise it.
And most of their upgrades had nothing to do with gameplay.

I would love create a team as well as edit player.

If they gave us enough creation slots, we could create the NCAA, KHL, etc.

My understanding from the devs and those who have played, is this is something they are working on, but they dont know if it will be done in time for this year's release. That is why I am pushing for them to push it through and get it done.

If you can push for that it would be amazing! Even if it's fairly basic, if I could put say Fla in Hartford I'd buy this game in 4 seconds

There should be No problem with Hartford since the AHL Wolfpack is in the game. The same with Québec Nordiques. The jersey is in, the arena is in with the Remparts. The only thing is, I'd Like to use all of them at the same time. Jersey, the city, the name, the arena. They just need to record things Like Whalers, Nordiques, Golden seals, Rockies and even Trashers. With random names Like they Did on PS3.

I don't even care if they can't do the pregame presentation and the arena, just let me make a team with the Whalers jersey and the name Hartford and put it in GM mode. Noting fancy, just playable.

No dont think NBC is the culprit, in Fifa15, create a team wasnt possible because something with the Ignite Engine if I remember correct.
NHL15 had Ignite Engine also, but they might have fixed that issue...

I'm not blaming NBC itself, I don't think they said don't do it, but I wonder if they didn't want to put it in since it would require extra flyover pictures and more intro speeches from Doc, though I wouldn't mind if our created team didn't have those. I'd rather just have my team!

Well those intros by Doc and Eddie are quite generic and for other teams than NHL ones like european there are no specific intros, so that's no problem :-)
Think its in the engine.
