Quick NHL04/09 PC Question (Controller)

For those that are still rocking NHL04 and NHL09 on PC with updated stuff, what controller are you all using? I have a 360 controller but it's basically unusable (in 04, can't use the R Thumbstick or Triggers and in 09 can't modify controls). Is there a controller that works well with both games? I can play Madden 08 and MVP2005 just fine with my 360 controller on PC, but not NHL04 or 09. Thanks for any replies

Yeah, I used to play NHL09....was big into making cybers. I, like you, used a XBOX360 for NHL09. I tried NHL04, but having to bash buttons to shoot gave it a short existence on my PC.

thanks no1xdraftpck I will look for a F310. That one seems to be compatible with both games.
