    Be A Pro- how do I change period length AND be able to Sim to shift?

    If I change the game style from Classic to Authentic when starting my Be A Pro, the period length defaults to 20 minutes and is grayed out and you can not change it. But if I go back to Classic and change period length down to 7 or 8, for example, then there is no Sim to Next Shift option when playing a game.

    What the heck? I'm thinking this is a bug? I sure as heck hope they didn't intend for this to happen. Can't play 20 minute periods, but I also can't play shorter periods and not have Sim to Shift option....

    I see some rumors on the EA forums that there is a bug around this, but they mostly talk about changing once you've started your Be A Pro, and then having your settings get wiped out.

      Any updates on this? I can't figure out how the proper setup to allow simming shifts...

          I believe it's designed that way.
          You're supposed to either play 20 minute periods and sim to next shift or play shorter periods and stay on the ice the whole time. At least that's what the description ingame says.

              Hope it is a bug or can be changed.

              I played a few games on 20mins and simmed to shift and the game took forever and both teams had goals in double figures, so restarted on 7min qtrs but now can't sim to shift.

              Is it that hard to have the option to STS for shorter periods.Think i will give this mode a miss as i would rather play a full game in BaGM than sitting on the bench watching.

              I like that in MLB TS's RtTS the games are quick and i can go in and play a few games if i don't have time to play a full game in my franchise.I wouldn't touch RtTS if i had to watch the whole game.

                  It's been like this since the feature was introduced in 12. It's not a bug, it's designed to give you realistic shifts

                      Yeah in classic mode there is no simming to shift. Never has been. You can only do that in authentic mode where the games take a long time. I was thinking of changing to authentic and then just simming the first two periods and play the third because on classic I keep getting killed on my endurance every single game.
