Cross Crease Goals

Hi all,

Has anyone noticed how easy it is to score cross crease ? I know in real hockey a cross crease is almost always a goal so I guess my concern the ease to actually get a pass across ? Seems the AI doesnt cover properly ? I am playing on PRO and is this an issue in All Star as well ??

Why don't you put it on all star and see for yourself.

Why do you bother posting if you aren't going to help ?

Re: Cross Crease Goals

I am playing on Superstar with Hardcore sliders and I find the cross crease on the break can be difficult to do. But just like at any difficultly once you understand what the AI does it gets easier. I find when in the zone the more you cycle to puck around or dangle about with one player an opening is always created. I find that on the break going around the net then passing out to the front either cross crease or other wise results in a very good chance against the AI. To sum everything up yes its prob harder the higher the difficulty but once you have adjusted its primetime.

Have you tried Armored & Swords sliders?

Agreed. For some reason the 2 on 1s always seem to find a stick or skate and fail. However when in the zone if you do a little cycling and or dancing around the net it opens the ice up quite a bit. Then when you hit the open man for a one timer almost always a goal.

Re: Cross Crease Goals

Feels like the same as years past where the CPU can score on a wrap around, or cross crease with no problem. I thought EA had patched this up previously, but it seems they forgot to make it a permanent part of this year.
