    After Whistle Argy Bargy?

Even when I have it on authentic, im not seeing any "after whistle" quarrels or penalties....?
A bump or fired puck after the wjhistle would result in some pushing/facewashing (and even a fight request?) which would at the very least, see coincidental minors be dished out.
Not seeing anything like that anymore?

Yeah me neither. It seems like the amount of time after the whistle was shortened up.

No doubt about it.. the only fights I see now is when someone gets hammered on a hit or a CPU teammate taunts for one on his own. I haven't been able to hit Y and have one between faceoffs.

I have had a couple fight requests and I'd press Y.. nothing! I haven't had a fight yet

I finally had one by pressing Y after the goalie held the puck. I do have fighting max (2) so maybe that helped.

I gotta say, I'd rather have no fighting than too much fighting.

I've gotten a fight a couple times for blasting a slapshot after an offside whistle

Me too, Iam in agreement, my Filthy Flyer pal (lol)....I like to keep the games realistic, BUT ---If the game boasts authentic "after whistle" scrums (were even a player from each team draws roughing minors) then EA should have them in the bloody game...like they once were!
So whats the point of "authentic/anything goes option"

I've gotten plenty of penalties and had 4 on 4 situations because of stuff after the whistle .

I always like doling out a slash to a dman after he whistle. Gets you 2 mins from time to time.

Seems to me this changed most between 10 and 11. In 10, I always was able to slash or fight after the whistle. In 11, the time after the whistle shortened substantially (a change for the worse, to me). I did not notice much difference in this from 11-15. (I have not played 16).

                        Re: After Whistle Argy Bargy?

I think a simple solution for this is to introduce a "Post Whistle Time" slider that determines how long the window to initiate scrums lasts. At lowest click, it's the current two seconds or so, and at highest click, it's roughly five seconds to do your worst, so to speak.
