I don't doubt it. It's part of what made NHL16 so frustrating. "Oh, we hear your issues with roster editing! So we've made it base-level possible, just like it's been from NHL07-14...we didn't hear what you were saying about sharing rosters though...that part of the message got a little garbled".

Vmascarello, that's great to hear and only helps prove the OS communities case that hte biggest thing holding this series back is its lack of player differential and weak separation.

Before NHL16's release, there were some Q&A's taken and the EA team claimed they had never heard of the Revamped project that Simple Mathematics and others had been doing for years.
I find that really hard to believe.

And if it's true, they should get on board pronto.
At the very least, they should be reaching out to you, or SM's team to request their rosters to test with themselves.

Look at NBA2K? They hired a guy who was famous for making rosters while in college.
Why can't EA do the same?

And I know the NHLPA has something to do with this, forcing NHL players to be jumbled closely together, but even still, can't they make the scale more exaggerated so that you can actually tell the difference between 83 speed and 86 speed?
That's all it would take.

So frustrating to know that the key to this series is within their grasp.
Yet they continue to ignore it.

Yeah, the RRs were (are) great and the dev team should definitely take a long, hard look at them. Yes, they absolutely should have made a roster-vault type thing. But sharing rosters from 07-14 wasn't included as part of the game; what prevents it now is the XB1/PS4 system software. So at least EA NHL is consistent.
