Refresh system/game

Every once in awhile its good to refresh the system, game and ps4 settings. To make sure its working good or when the sliders break on you.

'Out of box' tuner (disk release)
Do roster update, then delete everything from ps4 and reinstall the game (with patch 1.04). If you want to use the 'out of box' tuner that came with the game in Sept. (disk release tuner) then put your router firewall to high so it blocks automatic updates to psn.

If you want a new roster update, do this again. (If you want to try a new tuner/gameplay version do this except blocking the psn auto updates)

Sliders break and everything gets really fast, type stuff. Reinstall the game again.


PS4 video / audio
In the PS4 settings reset your ps4 to defaults every once in awhile to make sure the video is on what you want (or the better settings).

Video output settings
1080p
RGB to auto (if you have a video processor that outputs 36bit hdmi)
deep color to auto (if you have a video processor that outputs 36bit hdmi)

Audio
bitstream dolby
On your stereo use stereo not surround sound, the sounds from the rink are better.

I found that using "Stereo" in general seems to be much better for TV as well. But it could be the signal I'm getting from Uverse.

It also makes a difference if you have good front speakers that have double wire speaker wire inputs.

Its good to refresh the system (do ps4 defaults settings) and game everytime theres a new ps4 system update and whenever the sliders are not working to your liking/the same as usual.


This makes a difference sometimes. Also deleting the game from main ps4 page and reinstalling it.
