on ice visual trainer not working

OIVT is set at adaptive. At the start I used to get really interesting and helpful tips (protect the puck/both sticks left or right while gliding/the right stick 3 to 9 move) now i'm getting nothing. and I changed no settings. Can someone give insight as to how to get those tips again? Is it something with the settings or the level of difficulty?

You answered your own question. It's set to "Adaptive," so once you get the hang of those moves by doing them a few times, the game no longer prompts you to do them. If you want tips all the time, set it to "On" instead.

I figured as much but why is it still then telling me what pass and shoot are? But I only really used two or three dekes. Wouldn't it tell me the rest that I haven't used yet? along with a bunch of other commands I have not yet used?
