Slow Clock Under 2 Minutes

Is there a way to turn this off?

I'm playing 6 minute periods, and clock is accelerated the whole game..but stats are realistic.

In last two minutes clock slows down to real time and way too many shots and goals in last 2 minutes.

This may be obvious, but have you tried cutting the period lengths to 5 minutes?

I think this is how it has always worked, time is speed up (unless you play 20-minute periods) during the first 18-19 minutes, and then the last 1-2 mnutes are real time.
Don't think you can change that.
