This is a beta and a beta that they are wanting feedback on particular parts of their game. Not sure why you feel so entitled in this post to demand that they offer something different in their beta.....that they are providing to you for free. How many sports games do you know that provides a beta?

Also to the OP, I have yet to have any sort of lag in EASHL/OTP with the beta. Perhaps check your connection and/or make sure you are hard wired to your PS4

The idea for the Beta is to help fix the online and get as many players plying as possible over a week. If you are so upset about a beta that is meant for online, donèt play it and wait until the game releases in September. As far as laggy, no one I have played with or vs in HUT, EASHL or Drop ins have had lag so I have no idea what the complaint is there.

You can't play with gameplay settings either. They are grey out. I want to see if I can emulate realistic penalties. Otherwise I'm passing this year. Too many years without penalties kills my sim fever.

Its not a demo..it is a beta.

I was under the impression that the beta was crafted for the sole purpose of testing/balance/working out the kinks related to online play -not just to give a free demo to everyone.

The primary focus of a multiplayer BETA is to test online mode balance. It's the whole ****ing point man. They do in house testing for offline modes, and they release tuner updates and a larger update to fine tune online/offline play during the year.

The only sneak peak we used to have was an offline, 5min 3rd period demo. Are you saying you'd prefer having a demo in august instead of a full week of EASHL/HUT/VERSUS?

Jeez, you totally sound frickin entitled to something YOU would prefer, like you own the company.
