After playing the beta, are you buying NHL 17?

I only buy hockey once every 2 years, but after the beta I was like "eh...on the fence", because the beta felt so smooth it almost convinced me to get it in back to back years. Then I learned about all the new sliders and that they will actually impact gameplay. I feel like a little kid in mid December again, counting down the days and hours till Christmas morning. Definitely getting.

Yeah, sliders is the most important and loved addition to the series from Nhl 13 skating engine (sure, I know its not perfect) an puck physics in 15.

That's the reason I'll buy the game myself, even if Im not getting the it for free at the end

Honestly, statements like this make me question if you even played the beta. Look guys, I'm not saying that the improvements are going to wow everyone, but there is definitely a difference between 16 and 17.

I personally think getting your impressions from videos of people playing is a bad way to go. You'll never appreciate any game unless you physically play it. I was one that didn't notice a ton of difference when I watched Twitch of the Beta when I was out of town. I got back and played the last 3 days of Beta, and I can tell you the game not only feels better and more realistic, but the little things the AI does on my team and against me was a pretty nice leap over last year.

It's like trying to explain how players move with "weight" now in the new Madden 17. You can't watch that in a video and understand it.

Yeah the NHL 17 beta was a big improvement over 16 IMO. Since going back to NHL 16 you can notice all the little differences and advantages the Beta had.

Didn't get a chance to play the beta, but I'll probably only play the early access and then wait for 18. Hopefully frostbite will be in it. Kinda sick of how the players look
