Re: The NHL 17 sliders

Man Pass reception down to 0 is really noticeable.

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

Yes indeed.
I started maybe little too low, which is exactly how it should feel at 0. Sliders are amazing in this game.

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

Sliders make me happy. It's good to see they actually make a difference. I can't WAIT to finally play as a 10 feet from the net Center who screens the goalie, battles in the corners, cycles the puck and plays tight defense. Along with some real puck battles and back and forth hockey. This looks awesome so far.

EDIT: Just watched part of the video. Oh my God. The gameplay looked fabulous. I loved all the little puck battles, missed pass receptions and so on. I can't wait to jack up hit unpreparedness up to 100 to see guys get absolutely obliterated when they aren't paying attention. I plan on playing a 2000 style of NHL.

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

Definitely noticed that the puck appears a LOT looser, which means sloppier play. Also I noticed at times the CPU looks better at things like neutral zone pressure and gap control. While still not quite where I'd like it to be it looks like things are going in the right direction. Really considering buying next week so I can tinker with the sliders and stuff.

Re: The NHL 17 sliders

Here is a tip, make the game as sloppy as you can...jack the penalty sliders because it seems they need to be...and enjoy maybe the most organic sports game ever made.
