Re: NHL 17 Impressions

Agree with you guys. The flow is very realistic. some of the sliders are a little hard to understand as far as if you should raise or lower to get the desired effect. Yet some have explanations. I experimented and really raised or lowered certain things and I'm very happy to say the sliders work. Like I loweredpuck retention(drastically)when turning or deking and the players lost the puck almost every time. This 100 point scale seems legit. I also saw a 5 min penalty with a game misconduct from and open ice elbow to little Zucarello's head. I don't remember this from last year. I'm seeing a lot of penalties and i think the pen slider is only halfway.

As a die-hard Ranger fan I dislike this very much haha.

Good to hear about the sliders though, I didn't get a chance to play with those at all but from what I saw, the full-sim defaults were still very much in the middle ground on some of them which made me even happier to know that we might actually be able to make this be just a ridiculously sloppy game of hockey if we wanted to just by tweaking sliders.

Played a full SIM game and I'm fairly certain this will be the best NHL yet. Really impressed by the flow of the game and the foundation offered here to build a great gameplay experience. I'm stoked.

Die hard Rangers fan as well. I finally think with the amount of accurate sliders we now have available to us we can finally craft the most sim hockey game yet. My only fear is that I will find myself in slider hell nitpicking over everything.

I thought it wasn't but the full World Cup of hockey is in. Maybe this was common knowledge but the group play round robin is in and then the 4 teams advance to the final 4 bracket. Official jerseys also

Re: NHL 17 Impressions

As far as gameplay besides the passing and skating I feel like I'm playing NHL 16.5
