AI in this game is so frustrating!! It does not matter what you do slider wise!! Cycle the puck only to see idiotic AI bumping into each other. This game is great at times but also the most frustrating!! It literally has my blood to a boil!!

Happens all the time online. In versus and in club. Same scenario. Someone takes a player into the zone, even a dman like you did, barely gains the blue line or goes straight to the boards and lets go a weak shot. The goalie can't handle it. Misplays it completely. Either gives up the juicy rebound to the slot or fumbles it to himself or the AI dman and it ends up sloppily in the net.

The worst part is people know this and continually come down and try it since real offense is not rewarded in this series. Shots will be like 22-4 and the score is 3-2 for the guy getting dominated. 2 of his goals will be exactly like this. Every game.

More AI Frustrations. Hopefully with the next version (How many times have I said that?) the AI get a real makeover.

The bumping into each other is infuriating...but things like the above video show that the AI doesn't really know how to play. What should have been a potentially dangerous if not hurried 2 on 1 by Steen and Duchene turned into a nothing chance, because Steen not only stops at the blue line despite the puck and Duchene's lead skate crossing well before his stick is at the line, but then he just slowly glides down the middle lane.

By the time Duchene shoots, it's a 3 on 1, quickly turning into 4 Wild players between Tarasenko and Steen, despite what should have been a 2 on 1 chance for the Blues.

AI goalies has gotten worse than they already are, it's rebound after rebound whether it's a soft shot or a slapper. Also the amount of elbowing penalties are sky high now (NHLDev denies any changes considering that).
