Does anyone know if the CPU drafts more intelligently if you let the clock run as opposed to simming the pick? There used to be a football game (name escapes me) where the draft pick would take a while because the CPU was combing through algorithms to make an intelligent pick. Didn't know if EA has something like that in place, or if the pick will be the same whether its simmed or natural time.

Also wanted to know if anyone has drafted, or seen a CPU team draft, a player with Franchise role. I've had an occasional Elite, but have never seen a Franchise.

I have not, but would be very curious to hear others opinions.

Depending on the year I might get 1-7 elite roles but never seen a franchise in probably 12-15 drafts.

I just drafted a franchise player today lol 2017 draft, american goalie medium franchise
