PS4 Share play

Does Playstation's Share Play work with NHL 18? I want to play Franchise mode co-op with my friend over the internet...

i dont see why share play should not work. in 17 it worked. i have a friend who was the GM of his EASHL Team and there was a player on his team who didnt even own the game but had to be share played to play his game(this is a league and eventually the league realized the player in question didnt even own the game)

I tried it last night and it said it would not work because the game was not released in my region. I believe it will work now since the standard game has been released everywhere.

If memory serves, I don't think Be A GM/franchise mode games allowed a second player to join, even local (ie, second controller). IF this is the case, that's why share play wouldn't work for franchise co-op (or head-to-head).
