Auto Aim vs Manual, doe the rating accuracy matter

If you have the manual shooting option on, does the shot accuracy slider have any effect/impact for your player that you control at the time of the shot?

I have played both manual and auto aim on Pro and All Star, with the shot accuracy around 45 -55 and the AI goalie at about 35 -45 for cross crease, save reaction and save deflection settings. I score about 1 -2 goals a game, rarely do I get over 3 goals. Most of the goalie rating I play against have a rating of about 74.

I try and deke, move the puck from side to side before shooting, passing around to get the goalie out of position, and all sorts of different plays, but it seems the shot is going to the middle of the goalie vs going to an open part of the net. (or the goalie makes a headstand save).

I tried playing with visual aids for shooting, but I never get the shot off, because I am moving the stick around till I get it a the right spot, but usually get checked of the puck or run out of room.

My suggestion is to leave aim-Assist on. if your like me you will forget to aim because your too busy watching everything else go on around you..which means you shoot at the center of the net every time. Aim-assist will also help in different looking/types of goals. I avg about 4 goals per game in franchise.. Last night i lit up the Rangers for 10.. it does happen Also i totally suggest NOt playing on PRO.. The goalie AI is too easy.. one thing i do is get the goalie moving one way and shoot across the grain... that leads to a bunch of rebounds and deflection goals.

    hope this helps
