New NHL 18 Patch Available Now - Patch Notes Here

Playing on the ps4 pro after installing the latest patch I noticed that when you shoot the puck and miss the net once the puck hits the back board there is no sound for the puck only when it hits the side boards

In franchise, on the main screen with the schedule.. has the standing always rotated or is this new with the patch? I don't remember it going through each division for some reason, I thought prepatch it only had your division standings shown?

I noticed this as well. It never moved before this latest patch.

Is it just me, or does gameplay seem faster on this patch too?

It feels a little faster and tighter to me. Not necessarily in a good way, feels like there is a bit too much agility across the board now, and defending and attacking require fewer proper skating moves. It's a lot easier to recover and a lot easier to get to areas without having to plan ahead as much.

I’m not sure it’s faster, but it’s for sure smoother. Maybe that’s what everyone is feeling? Being more smooth making it feel faster?

no it's definitely faster and the AI bunches up the defense in a group of five in front of the net. Game got worse after the patch.
