I remember thinking when the PS4 came out that NOW we are going to have the systems to have some great sports games. Some games have shown you can strive to make a sim game even with micro transactions and it's going to sell well.

The NHL series is an embarrassment. The NHL should be embarrassed by this representation of the sport.

For the first time in years I did not buy it this year, not to try to make a statement or try to hurt them with lost sale, this years game to me felt like it had no important improvements.

To buy '19 I don't expect much from the current group producing the game but if they add roster sharing and the ratings actually have an effect that would be my minimum improvement needed.

I'm all down with roster sharing, but if I can't edit generic player faces and the AI still stinks... it's kind of like making a stew without the beef. Just saying.

Roster sharing would be quite nice for me.
