Is it worth 12 dollars?

Please pardon what might appear to be a stupid question, but I haven't played a hockey game in years, despite the fact that I used to love them.

If I'm just looking to play casually, are there any glaring problems that a person who leans toward realistic gameplay might notice easily?

This will always be at least slightly subjective but yes, I think the current gen NHL games lack certain aspects of realism, team mate AI and skating/movement is what bothers me personally.

I played NHL11 again on old 360 and it reminded me how much fun and fluid it was, I could easily pass behind the net, pick up pucks along the boards without getting stuck or turns being all wonky, my mates actually created space and chances, blocked goalies, etc... The visuals now are a bit better of course. Sliders help some what.

12 dollars isnt much, might as well give it a shot however if it was me Id wait for NHL19 reviews/impressions and potentially invest in the better game.
