Re: How's your franchise going? NHL 19 Edition

Is there a transaction screen so that I can see what other teams are doing with their rosters?? I haven't found it, yet.

Edit: Found it. It’s activity feed/message center and hit X on it.

Re: How's your franchise going? NHL 19 Edition

I don't think I've ever made more perfect coach mode slider, just now, I just gotta play it to see it holds true to form, one thing I wanted to target was the penalties, I think just figure it out, gonna play a game and see.

hold your breathe.

it ever started out perfectly, but there was no penalties, so I gotta figure this one out, penaltie ratio am hopping for is 5-3, one side has 5 and other has 3.

I've done it now, I've got a perfect 7-5 penaltie ratio.

at first I had doubts there was ever gonna be penalties, then my team took 2 and we had 0, next period we scored to make it 2-1 and we had 3-4 powers and they had 5 and then next period we we're leading 4-3 and we scored again 5-3 and powerplays we're now 6-4 and we scored again on power play so we went 2/5 and score was pretty much 6-3 and by end it was 5-7 power plays, AI CPU had 7 and we have 5.

we went 2/5 and AI CPU went 0/7 , my los angeles kings we're good penalty killers, we ramped and stomped Vancouver in pre-season. XD

second game ARZ had 4 PP and LAK had 3 PP, ARZ went 1/4 and LAK went 0/3, we won 3-6 at home, we are 3-0-0 in pre-season.

Re: How's your franchise going? NHL 19 Edition

I reinstalled NHL 19 and did a fantasy draft on basically all default sim. With my Blues fighting for a Stanley Cup berth, I need a hockey fix.

It actually has been playing good with pretty much even teams all around.

Re: How's your franchise going? NHL 19 Edition

First time doing franchise mode ever. Don’t really care for scouting and financial side but getting to learn that side with “trail by fire.”

Started with NYR (post deadline roster)
Players created and started in Hartford:

V, Kratsov (did not do so well his first season in “the A” - was often benched
A. Fox (tore up the AHL, called up to NYR for the playoffs as Rangers D has been terrible in maintaining leads. Played 15 mins first game out)
I. Shestyorkin (Had a rough go in his first North American season but finished with a 1.32 GAA)
C. Nell (sent to ECHL)
A. Huska (Sent to ECHL)

Trades:
Namestikov became disgruntled when his favorite teammate players were sent to minors and reduced playing time as an injury set him back and often saw him in the press box- requested trade.
Traded for James Neal from Flames as I felt the team needed a veteran presence and neal had 3x the totals of Namestikov. Took on a huge contract but, will be looking to unload next season.

Movements:
Staal & Smith to minors after no takers through season (would love to get rid of these guys)

Finished Reg season (simmed all games) 4th in division and made it to first round vs. Pens

1st Round of Playoffs (playing all games):
Down 3-0 in series and came back to win series 4-3. Game 7 was dominated by NYR 7-2. Matt Murray chased after allowing 4 goals in 20 shots. Pens lost Malkin, Johnson to injuries during the game. Kessel playing with injuries. During the first round: Zbad, Fast, Vesey, Chytil would all prove too much for the Pens D, scoring 90% of the goals for NYR during the series

2nd Round:
Facing Capitals. Game 1 NYR up 3-0 in the second, Capitals score twice and add the tying goal with four mins left in the 3rd. Game goes into OT. Face-off in Capitals’ zone, Zbad tied up, Krieder comes in from the RW to help out, puck poked into corner, Fast in pursuit of Orlov. Fast stick lifts Orlov, kicks the puck out to Shattenkirk who takes his time with a screen in front, puck deflected a foot in front of Holtby by Kreider, bar down. Rangers take game 1 with some luck.

Future moves:
- Bring back Zucc?
- Attempt to rid myself of Staal and Smith (any suggestions?)
- Develop Andersson, Chytil, Kratsov, Fox (Fox may be NHL ready after his playoff experience)
- Make some tough decisions regarding contracts and trades.

Re: How's your franchise going? NHL 19 Edition

sense the last roster update was 23, I personally went into great depths to make Franchise Mode All-Star: Full Sim NHL 19 Coach Mode 20 Minutes , even more harder, I wanted something special, in-order to do that, I completely changed the penalties section and raised one setting, with minor tweaking , so u would need smaller players involved in your team, so started with coyotes and traded some players for smaller dudes, I decided to put my logic to the test.

so u would need small guy on each line and 2 small guys on defense, here's look what I did to overhaul the coyotes line up

Line 1: Clayton Keller , Alex Galchenyuk, Richard Panik
Line 2: Derek Ryan , Derek Stepan, Vinnie Hinostroza
Line 3: Michael Grabner , Christian Dvorak, Nick Cousins
Line 4: Conor Sheary , Brad Richardson, Christian Fischer

Defensive Pairing 1 : Oliver Ekman-Larsson , Niklas Hjalhmarsson
Defensive Pairing 2 : Alex Goligoski , Jason Demers
Defensive Pairing 3 : Andy Greene , Jacob Chychrun

am up 4-1, am gonna post the new settings now.
