Hey all,

I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there who actually attempts to following along with the actual NHL season? I feel like I am the last of a dying breed.

You mean like play the games from the real schedule on that day? Thought about it but I think I'd just miss a day and then forget about it or want to play more and the schedule would be off.

I’ve often thought about it, not just for hockey games either, when I was into Nascar racing sims years ago it was very tempting, but I’m too impatient. I play one game (or race) then want to play another.

I still find it an intriguing concept though.

I usually play the Red Wings make sure the roster is current scratch the correct players for every game of the 82 game season. So I think there are a few of us out there. Back in the day I use to subscribe to the hockey news before smart phones to make the roster correction pretty geeky. I also try to edit the lines of the opponent I play every night. The only thing I don’t do is take 15 minutes in between periods😆

I thought about, and I'm right on schedule this year so far. Reason being is I have so many games right now I'm playing and so little time with work. I can usually only get to one game a night between NHL, NBA, FIFA and WWE.
