Yeah, I agree. They could add a whole other development team and I think that we’d get the same garbage as we always do. Now, we might get some areas cleaned up, but I think it would take a few years to get the franchise where it should have been a couple of years ago....

We have added 20 new developers, they will all be focused on making HUT a more immersive experience.

Honestly, I loved World of Chel so much that I hope they add to the mode, maybe with some similar game modes for it to what they did for NBA Live’s The One.

I have really enjoyed both Threes and EASHL more than any previous version. Never really got into it before, but the Threes kind of hooked me, and it got me to give the 6v6 in EASHL more time.

While the career modes of football and baseball games are mostly weak and more gimmicky, for basketball, hockey, and, I assume soccer, playing pick up games, or with a full team of friends, the sports just seem perfect for this kind of multiplayer.

NBA Live has it close to perfect, and I think NHL 19 was on the right track.

While I prefer MUT and DD in Madden and The Show, I am hardly touching UT in Live and NHL.

Seems ridiculous that wasn't offered.

At the very least this article explains why NHL14 was such a friggin disaster on the new consoles.
It's amazing how long it took for them to recover too.

Been a loooong time since I've been on these boards. I finally got 19 on PS4. Good to see more developers going to NHL.

Good to see some of the old guard hanging in, too.

I'm still mad about how they handle Legends in NHL 19. I thought we'd get to use them more. So unless that changes to where we can use them in franchise mode, I probably won't get the game.

Really? How does World of Chel translate to a couch co-op?

Unless you're talking THREEs specifically. Then yes - why that's not a couch co-op is crazy.

I've been requesting customization in this game for years and it just get's ignored. I want to put my face in the game, I want a logo creator like what forza has. I want a goalie mask creator. I would also like to practice with my team mates in EASHL. Last but not least I want custom music back. If none of these things are in '20, then I am not buying.

I've wanted believable AI and goalies for many years and I'm always ignored as well. As fun as watching your goalie give up a shot from the blueline with no screen, yet make multiple backdoor 1T saves a game is, it's not very immersive.

You pretty much nailed it.

Half of the problem on the ice for the NHL series continues to be poor AI.

There is a triangle of bubble gum and duct tape between offense, defense, and goaltending. If you fix one part properly it exposes how poorly taped together another end is.

Between Madden and NHL, both series have made their own problems by not fixing issues properly the first time. Now it's like realizing you've got company coming over and have to clean up your house or room for 3 hours instead of only needing about 15 minutes.
