Went back to NHL a week or so ago and have been having a lot of fun with it.

It's 2021 and I got off to best start I've had so far.

Still have Bergeron at an 83 he's just hurt. Rask still in net at an 86.

Been having middling regular seasons with but getting bounced in the first round.

Trying to get Krejci/Bergeron/Marchand another before they retire. I kept Chara the whole time but he retired in the off-season. Had a lot of cap space and tried to sign Lindholm as a FA but he went to LA, so Seth Jones was the big move.

A lot of old guys going for one last run on this team. Tried to bring back Thornton and reunite him with Marleau but he went to Montreal (ugh).

Had no plans to get Toews but Chicago offered him in a trade in the preseason. His contract is expiring and didn't give up anything important.

Some other notes, I let Coyle go and kept Krug because that's what the Bruins should have done!

Couldn't afford to trade for Hall so I ended up with Palmieri 2 or 3 years ago. Last year my offense was still struggling so I traded for Kovalchuk who I didn't realize he was still in the game. He was clutch down the stretch and on the PP.

Long post, but it's been awhile since I've got sucked into a franchise in any series.
