Is the neutral zone pressure gone post patch???

Almost always the release version of nhl seems to play better. Then the hut and online people complain and patches seem to make it play worse for offline.
Online guy to EA, my guy keeps getting checked in the neutral zone, I can't dangle through 5 guys like last year, please fix.

I haven't downloaded this patch yet because I really like the game play, it's not perfect but better than '20.

Hmm, maybe play on ALLSTAR , or pro..etc.
Look at the game style, length, skill /settings on the screenshot...
Looks not so SIM like settings...

I don’t think the NZ play is gone too....with the right settings of course.

Yep.. that's your issue, you need to be on simulation and all star. Simulation is the key here.

Ya I have yet to see any problems with neutral zone pressure in the 3 games since the 23rd. It’s playing the exact same to be honest.

Posted this in the other thread but the lack of NZ pressure is related to the "speed glitch" which happens all of the time on Xbox, can't speak for the PS. Normally my first game of the day is fine after a hard shutdown, so if you can get the game in the state where you used to feel the NZ pressure, it shouldn't be any different.

When the game gets into the "speed glitch"/"bezerk mode" the NZ pressure starts to disappear/be extremely beatable to a point where you don't really notice it. The "speed glitch" will never be fixed as EA claims it doesn't exist despite the fact that 2 game using the same teams in Play Now can feel drastically more/less sloppy, faster/slower depending on the game state without changing a single slider.
