I read in the gameplay impressions thread that the neutral zone pressure now seems non existent after EA dropped the latest patch.

Is this true?

I was about to finally order the game but if this is the case, then no thanks.

Yes, it is. There's a thread at the EA forums, of course the devs are denying that they did anything regarding neutral zone pressure....

Ridiculous.

It seems to me that these companies should be held legally responsible for tinkering with the quality, often detrimentally, after a customer has purchased them.

If I buy a game for a specific reason, I shouldnt have to worry that the developers are going to **** it all up with their endless tinkering with the product.

I’m so sick of this problem. This happens like every damn year.

Is it at least possible to play on a pre patched version or tuner???

Is it possible to buy the game and decline the patch?

This has me so upset. The worst thing is that I KNEW this would happen.

This kind of post purchase product tampering should be something they can be sued over.

Cant even explain how disappointed I am...and I havent even purchased the game, yet!!!!

I'm surprised people are seeing a dramatic change in gameplay with random patches. I'll be honest, I haven't noticed a significant change in gameplay since NHL 15 LOL

I went ahead and bought the physical copy and refused as many updates as it would allow me.

Literally none of the players are on the right team so...i think im workint with the most stripped down version.

So far Im diggin it besides the goalies being utter garbage.

How to delete patch? Installed this morning but didn’t know it deletes neutral zone pressure. 🤬

Is the Neutral Zone gone now after the patches? I’m waiting to buy the game still and it may depend on if they hindered the gameplay now

I went ahead and bought the physical copy of the game and rejected as much as I could during start up and Im happy with how its playing. Had to access a free agent signings list before starting my season to update the rosters...but thats no biggie.

I’ve been playing the game on all star, having to mostly dump the puck in pre patch, now you can skate down the side, mostly without pressure to get in offensive zone, just like nhl 20.
I was having such good games before the patch, I was practically sitting on the edge of my seat getting into the game , not so much now.

Thank you for saving me 60 plus bucks. EA is terrible at making true to life sports games. I’m done giving them any of my money. Fifa is a total mess and now they went ahead and messed up NHL again.
