Download the latest rosters and make them active.

Hi,

First post here. Actually the EA support directed me to the OS forum.

I am looking for help regards my custom roster and the new Jersey patch.

I spent 3 months on my custom roster and created around 300 players and customised every nhl player etc. Looking at this forum, I am not the only roster crazy person ;-)

However, here is my issue.
using my roster as the active. When I want to play any offline mode the jerseys for several teams are totally mixed up. Best example the Calgary Flames. Red jerseys , but with black gloves and black helmets etc.

I have downloaded the newest EA roster made it active and then switched back to my custom roster, but the issue is still there.

Any idea how to fix it? Your support is much appreciated here.

You can't use your roster with the new jerseys in play now, but you can in franchise/season/playoffs. First make your roster active, then start one of these modes, go back to the main menu, make the latest online roster active, then go back to your franchise/season/playoffs.

Idk if this will work due to your edits or break something with duplicate players or whatnot, but this is how you should be able to do this:

1. Save your current custom roster (probably custom roster 1 - right side of screen).

2. Duplicate your custom roster 1 so that you have a "custom roster 2"(don't you love that EA won't let us name our files lol? I should also add that this step is just taking an abundance of caution approach with your edits by making a copy. When you merge rosters later which is the only point that should fail, it will autosave a new copy as well.)

3. Download the latest EA roster (left side of screen).

4. Click "Y" (Triangle - PS) on both your custom roster 2 and the latest EA roster to "merge" the rosters. Because it's a merge, I can't guarantee it will be stable as I don't know how the game handles merging the new values to the players and your previously assigned ones, but this is the only possible way to get the new jerseys and keep your edits.

I'd definitely walk through the roster (it will be auto-saved as custom roster 3 now) and see if your edits saved and if everything looks good before using them in a mode. You're probably SoL if it didn't as far as getting the RR's + your custom edits, but this should at least attempt to make this happen.

If you would like to see new jerseys on season or franchise mode, you could start your franchise or season mode with your edited rosters and after you have saved your mode, go back to the main menu, download the EA's newest roster, make it active on main menu, and after that, go back to your season / franchise mode and you will see new uniforms on your edited rosters in the season / franchise mode. Hope this helps

Next update better have the New TRUE goalie equipment. Saw 2 goalies with it already, Andersen of the Leafs and Hutton of the Sabres.

There are like 20 goalies that switched to True. They really have to add them.
