Will 22 have a shortened schedule ?

I’m pretty new to EA NHL. Do you think it will have the shortened schedule with the new conferences? Just opinions. I know nobody really knows.

I’m just wondering if my team will carry forward when 22 comes out.

The shortened season already ended. The 21/22 regular season schedule came out a few days ago and everything is back to normal. Old divisions are back with an 82 game schedule and a three week break in February for the winter Olympics.

No, they never changed anything.

You can change the divisions yourself when you start a franchise. Just put all Canadian teams into the Central division to become the North and realign the rest on your own. The schedule will change a little, but you'll still play teams from across the league so you can't have the exact schedule of this past season.

At the end of the day, the season is now history (hopefully gone forever and we never have to go through that again) and I'm not sure why you would want to go back. Personally, I didn't bother much with franchise mode in NHL 21 because the Kraken are not in the game so it sucks long term to be playing without them.

WELL - to be honest I was just hoping I could play less games in the schedule. LOL I can SIM games but it's not the same as actually playing and playin 56(?) games is more doable then the normal amount.

Being in a hockey'less area except for college sucks. NOBODY talks about the NHL in Wisconsin. The Stanley Cup was never even mentioned on local news in Madison - EVER.
