How do you get the CPU opponent to shoot more?

I’m playing on Superstar difficulty and find that the CPU opponent isn’t assertive enough and not shooting the puck enough against me. I’m routinely outshooting the CPU team in franchise mode and wished that the CPU would look to shoot more at my net instead of being so passive and passing too much.

Different year, same problem…

set your :

Pass Accuracy: CPU: 20-25-28 / Human: 45

it's still the same from years ago

lower 0-49 is more shots and more likely they'll fling it at the net.
50-100 more likely they'll pass the puck and shoot less, but with added characteristic, they will pass/shoot so pass and then shoot sometimes.

they kinda got this NHL 2016 vibe going on with this past few games.

it's just the way I like it, make game hard and competitive and scores low and stuff and dirty AI CPU and stuff, reminds me of NHL 2016, this I love it for it, makes me wanna good all out for Stanley Cup.

The CPU pass accuracy is at 0 already and not seeing any added assertiveness for the CPU to shoot more

then u may need to go higher than, 20-25-28, these settings work best.

it sure does man, sometimes having it at zero doesn't help them, so u need to fiddle with settings, so raising it from zero to 20-25-28, I know from experience. cause I fiddle with settings every day, I know values how they work. you gotta play with it.

I once had AI CPU have 50-65 shots with it at 20-25-28 for CPU in pass accuracy. where I had like 29-35.

well, it does, then again, am on Xbox Series X, which might be different from PS5 Owners, I just booted it up and set it to CPU: 25 and was out shot 10-2, by the time I got to 30 shots they had 40 shots and higher.
