Post Whistle Rules

Why is this in the game? On authentic or relaxed, in any release of EA NHL hockey, I’ve never seen a single penalty called after the whistle blows…….Ever. In offline games you barely get penalties called during gameplay at all.

I've seen plenty of penalties post whistle over the years. Shooting the puck after the play has stopped leads to a scrum more often than not which causes penalties.

Fair enough I forgot about that but let’s be honest you have to shoot the puck intentionally at the goalie after a whistle in order for that to happen. Sometimes that isn’t really an occurrence in the NHL

If you have fighting at 2 face washing starts fights a lot , had to put it back to 1 , I also have most cpu Penalties at 85 and see plenty both ways but you also have to draw them , just sayin..

Along the same line of post whistle penalties, why, why, WHY when I have Ryan Reaves on the ice and try to initiate a fight before the faceoff do I end up having to fight with Nils Lundqvist instead?
