I mean, fair play to them listening and making changes, but this is the same issue NHL had where they release a beta a month before release, then the changes they need to make can't actually be put into the game until a month or two AFTER release.
There used to be a time where companies would release betas well before the release date, so that they could make the necessary changes BEFORE the game came out... Why has this practice gone the way of the dodo?

Revamp the knockdown system. It's not just about reducing the frequency of occurrence, put some struggles or delays to get up. it's so easy to get up now.

Because like I complained about on an earlier thread, the beta has become marketing instead of a beta.

Stamina was one of the worst parts of the beta IMO, and the stuff listed here that impacts stamina doesn't sound like nearly enough to me. I'm glad they say they're paying close attention and will tune further though.

"Stamina is among the trickiest elements to tune, because there are direct and indirect factors that add up and cause a snowball effect. We are treating stamina tuning as a very high priority for our future updates and we know how important it is for the matches to have an authentic flow. We will continue to monitor community feedback on how stamina cost feels during the matches."
they dont wanna make pressure spammer bums fell bad
its simples
body strikes drain X
misses and blocked strikes drain Y
wiffed/dodged strikes drain Z
more % in Y than ufc 3 and 4 and we are fine
put the same as 3 and 4 in X and Z

From psychology journal:
“Consumers sometimes act like creatures of habit, automatically repeating past behavior with little regard to current goals and valued outcomes. To explain this phenomenon, we show that habits are a specific form of automaticity in which responses are directly cued by the contexts (e.g., locations, preceding actions) that consistently covaried with past performance. Habits are prepotent responses that are quick to activate in memory over alternatives and that have a slow-to-modify memory trace. In daily life, the tendency to act on habits is compounded by everyday demands, including time pressures, distraction, and self-control depletion. However, habits are not immune to deliberative processes. Habits are learned largely as people pursue goals in daily life, and habits are broken through the strategic deployment of effortful self-control. Also, habits influence the post hoc inferences that people make about their behavior”.
This said it better than I could lol. Sums up what’s about to happen between myself and UFC 5 purchase lol. Characters still move like they have sticks stuck up their behind and fused to their spine. ZERO semblance of organic movement and I’ll still probably buy it because I need a fighting game.
