Reading reports that outside of the 3 pre-order characters, the game doesn't have a single new addition to the roster. Just some goofy alter egos.

It is quite a choice. Only justification is all the new fighters we got for the last year were the fighters they'd normally hold back and market as new for a new game.
Still...
Someone said on Twitter it's not even UFC 4.5. It's UFC 4.3

No roster additions is inexcusable, but that video clearly shows Wanderlei available in the MW division. No Brock Lesnar though. They’ll probably hype up his return in 6, or maybe even DLC.

The only way to select referee is in event creator like in UFC 4 but it is strange even with latest videos of single fights no other referee has come up yet,i was hoping for Goddard and Jason Herzog.Fingers crossed tomorrow when i can check it out.Comment

That explains their refusal to do a roster reveal, if there's nothing to show.
Guess i was right with my commentary on their fighter updates. Everyone loved it, but now you're getting a game absolutely devoid of new content.
I"m not a close follower of the sport anymore so i don't care that much, but they should know better. The argument that it's ufc 4.5 is not wrong...Comment

I’d love to know the percentage of fighters in the game who are active fighters vs ones who are retired/cut/legends.
I deleted people from ufc 4 universe to make room for new people in my ufc 5 one. I’m shocked there’s not one difference. Imma have to cancel preorder and get the game in a month when these guys on YouTube make some awesome cafs for those 50 slotsComment
