EA UFC 5 ISSUE with input - wrong CLINCH ELBOW input scheme

Wrong Control scheme:
Elbow in Standing stance & Elbow on the Ground = R2+ square/triangle.
but
Elbow in Clinch = L1 + square + X / triangle + circle

WHY another, non intuitive, and more buttons to press simultaneously for Elbow in Clinch?!
What is the problem to make Eдbow in Clinch with the SAME INPUT as other Elbows?!

The game is full of these random inconsistencies.The clinch elbow turns into a takedown in positions like over/under and clinch back. Yet, in crucifix, side saddle and side control elbow is L1+punch. It's particularly odd because none of those positions use R2+punch for anything as far as I remember.

Inputs such as clinch, push (R2+ lead hand) or single/double also switch based on your stance. Yet, spinning kicks remain head (X) and body (O) regardless of stance. This particular move also ignores the whole R2-body modifier as well.
