The game is still in early stages, been following it for a while now, they're actually bringing in REAL fighters to mo-cap the moves. Talk that **** now, but EA UFC's striking is pure trash.
There's even stopping power in that video I posted. And to the dudes above, I've been into combat sports longer than you've been alive. LolComment

Best animations hands down. The jab looks fantastic and the parry/blocking looking damn fine too. The step in leg kick with the hips and lead leg turned in, the follow up high kick with the hand and arm placement demonstrating momentum... The switch lead leg kick looking like it has actual proper impact simply due to more realistic animations. And then that left body uppercut/hook, left hook, right hook combination looked spot on.
Amazing what simple subtilities like the hips turning in like it should and retracting at the point of impact can bring to the striking.
I've also been following up on this game for years now, and it looks absolutely great. Doesn't seem like it'll ever be completed though.
I mean damn, just look at that:
Don't look at the knockdowns per say but the striking delivered and it's animations. This is what EA should aim for animation wise.
You can see a teep in the video above acting as it should too. Game still needs work but this is definitely what EA should aim for going forward with the striking when it comes to bringing in the small intricacies that striking brings that makes it so vicious and technical.Last edited by Acebaldwin; 05-08-2016, 08:40 AM.Comment

Shame that graphics wise this belongs to PS2 era.
Looked at their FB page and there is one interesting video entitled: Knockdown animations.
Much more life-like and less rag-dollish

I love this animation as body hit reaction. I have seen a lot of this in real life like JDS vs Rothwell.

You guys are crazy if you say this video the guy post doesn't look better than Ea ufc 2 striking.
I hope this game comes out it will **** ea ufc sports in the ***.

Man, you guys whine so much.....
The grappling mechanics alone make this game a truly enjoyable MMA experience. Sure, the standup is far behind the grappling, but it is still fairly solid.
