In this game what counts as significant strikes?

I think the modified strikes using the left shoulder button, but I think it's glitches cause when I'm playing UT, one of the challenges is to get significant strikes and I know I've landed them but it doesn't register. Unless ground sig strikes dont count.

Ground strikes do not count as significant strikes, I prefer ground game, with those sig strike challenges are a pain *** when I use my grapplers

Sig strikes dont count for s**t on the scorecard which is moronic if u ask me. Mindlessly spamming strikes and sub attempt is th way to score big. Even if 80% of them miss (strikes) and are escaped on first gate (subs)

I think its cleanly landed L1 strikes. Someone correct me if i'm wrong
