I would just like to say thank for a great final patch devs

Seriously great patch guys! Love the extra damage of hooks to punish side step spammers. The updated move sets are fantastic, TJ Dillashaw finally ditching the stupid SM punch and gaining the power right hook has turned him into a killer lol.Sure more fighters still need the SM punch removed but c'est la vie.

Once again thank u devs for a great final patch

Now get back to working on UFC 3

Thank you, EA! Speaking as a die-hard UFC Undisputed 3 fan, UFC 2 has had me permanently make the switch. Graphics are incredible, the roster is huge and perfect for creating my own "Universe mode", Ultimate Team was a great addition and is very addicting. Can't wait to see what steps are made for UFC 3.

      Keep up the great work!

EA did a great job with patches since launch

The strike intercept mechanic and nerfing spinning/flying spam garbage, were huge.

Many other small changes that made a big difference, too.

Definitely kept me playing and involved with the community a lot more; not sure how long i would have lasted if there weren't any patches post launch, game was a bit frustrating (but still better than UFC 1 lol....)

Ya i totslly love how they nerf another way of defending yourself, leaving meta as leaning back and parrying. So ****ing fun.

Head movement and footwork should be the main forms of defense

Parries could use some tuning (1.5 dmg on a missed parry tbh)

              Big thinks yeah,
The game is more strategical, more skillful... When we compare to the first version.

Ya and you cant lean forward because they nerfed that. And leaning back is super broken and has been since day 1. If you are leaning back there is a force field around your head and you can't get hit. They need to change it, so that if someone is already leaning back you can hit him ala weidman vs silva. But as it is now you can lean back and avoid every high strike thrown. Even if the guy tries to get as close as possible. I really hope I'm wrong but i feel like witbout some balancing the striking is going to be a ****show

This game is still a joke.

I just fought a guy who spammed jab over and over and I was winning and rocked him. He survives, throws one random spin kick, rocks me, I can't block or parry and get knocked out.

I mean, that's just sad and pathetic. I swear, this game is made so that the worse you are the better you'll do. It's like every fight is scripted.

I just can't even play this game anymore because EVERY TIME I do I fight some pile of trash. or the game just makes me lost in stupid ways.

Use Body strikes vs Back sway.
Block is impossible in sway, and when back sway yr body strikes are getting additional dmg bonus mp (large enough to even cause health event) plus you gain GA for td attempt.
                    So Back sway is balanced.

Good kids will seay back than instantly hold block. Run than throw leg kicks. Repeat process. The games current meta is broken af

                        Overall: You are definitely right.

But I want to add that, technically, you CAN hit someone if you have very long reach, are toe to toe with them, and they are stuck leaning back for a little while.

Once in a blue moon but it can technically happen lol but it's certainly a problem.

As Sugata said though --- go for TAKEDOWNS and clinch if they are 'spamming' back sway. This is MMA after all I'm a striker first but 90%+ of time (unless fighting Souza/Werdum/etc in the hands of a skiller sub artist) I will take the match to the mat if they give me that advantage. Usually, it makes them more cautious of the takedown while they are standing, opening back up my striking.

Just as big a problem --- leaning back almost makes your BODY invincible to a degree!...not to straights/jabs/body kicks, but uppercuts and hooks to the body that CLEARLY connect flush when an opponent leans back, usually don't register, which really kills me when I land a dirty Left Hook to the liver when they lean back and it doesn't register ;( ;(

All this said, I hope they revamp head movement in the next game. Please see: Fight Night Round 4 / Champion

IRL, when someone back up, it's hard to touch him, look Machida fights.
So it's more realist than Ea Ufc1 where there was a auto forward dash with any strike but it's more complicated to connect someone now in Ea Ufc 2 thats why people coplain :
this is a part of management distance, know when to throw a shot and when stop to not hit the air.
try to master it instead to complain.
So, Consequently, you dont have any other choice to do like Dos Anjos did against Pettis.

Sorry donnie but the answer to this isnt "git gud". My complaint isnt that it is op. My conplaint really isnt even that much about it being broken(even though it OBVIOUSLY is) my problem is that it is the most consistent and right now thr best way to defend yourself. Because of other nerfs, leaning back and parrying has become meta. I do not think that is fun or good for the game. Buff leaning forward pls.

FYI forward lean damage was lowered from what it was pre-patch. ZHunter immediately called attention to this issue. Stealth fix.
