The Phenom (Nerfs with last patch??)

So I only now just noticed this and it seems really weird to me..

So LHW Vitor Belfort is a monster. He has the fastest striking speed in the div and big power.

Now MW Vitor's stats on the other hand are horrible. Low power, low speed, he has really nothing going for him. A bunch of guys in the game have better Power & Speed than him, its kind of crazy.

Bisping actually has significantly higher power & speed than Vitor at MW, which makes me think Bisping must have gotten a major striking buff? But Vitors stats are honestly so low I feel like he must have been nerfed.


Vitor may be a withered shell of himself but the guy is still one of the most explosive, powerful fighters in the UFC by far.

Just for reference at LHW his punching power is 90. At MW its only 80.

Why such a massive difference?

Bisping got a buff and it's good, some guys need a nerf like Weidman and Rockhold and some guys need a buff like Mousassi and Vitor.

MacDonald is another wonky fighter in game. Last I checked in welterweight his striking stats were very peculiar, along with his stats compared to MW.

There is lots of discrepancies like this.

Bisping's stamina was poor as well. I'm guessing things like this are all over the roster in the game. I don't really look at fighters stats that much.

After what he did to Vitor, hell yeah. He needs a speed buff the most, that jab was sharp

Gegard is pretty dang good in the game TBH. All his strikes are lvl 3, and his perks are great. He could be a bit faster, but his stats aren't bad either.

I do think his character model is a bit off though. He seems a little too big at MW.

Machida got a huge upgrade at Light heavyweight also which makes him I believe the highest ranked fighter at light heavyweight in the standup department at 97, but not at middleweight either. I believe both of them deserved the bumps but don't understand the big disparity of the two in middleweight and light heavy.

So did Gracie get a stat change?? His top game is 98 and everything els is literally 99 for ground game. I dont remember him being so ****ing op

Iirc he had pretty underwhelming ground stats except for submissions which were both 98/99

Can you not beat him? Is someone picking him in Online Championships and demolishing everyone? Is he unstoppable? What do you mean by OP?

Well it depends on the matchup. If you are using nick diaz with his insanely underrated 80 otb you cant win when it goes to the ground at all. If you have weidman or rockhold, if you can keep it standing you can win quick but the second he is on top its scary. He is beatable but in my paricular matchup which was nick diaz vs royce i couldnt do anything. There were times i would be winning handily standing but against top guys its impossible to stay standing forever.

It really isnt that he is op as a character, but his ground game certainly is. And it is really the top game attribute. It is a little too high imo.. If it was 95 like his otb maybe that helps. I dont have a problem at all with his sub skills being so high.

So he's not OP then... he just has a good ground game. Which he does in real life I would think.
