The Last Of Us new Update for PS4 PRO.

Before you think i am off topic, hear me out a bit here.

The last of us is almost 2-4 years old ( depending on the console you played it)

They released an update recently (2-3 days ago) in order for them to support PS4 PRO.

Thing is, they didn't stop there.

They also made some improvements on Stereo Sound.( as stated from the changelog)

So where am i going with this?

I know the devs have stated that it was the last update, however, seeing that such an old game still releases updates, just to support PS4 PRO, could we possibly see another simillar update for EA UFC 2?

Is there a chance, that EA SPORTS UFC 2, also gets an update for the support of PS4 PRO and also add some gameplay/minor fixxes and player moveset changes, to this update like the rubberguard being almost unblockable etc ?

Or perhaps add Bisping a new beard and a new haircut to make him look more like real life?( I mean, he is the champ)


Also i am curious, seeing how each time an update releases for the game, the same one is applied on the XBOX One, how would such an update for PS4 PRO, work if it were to happen? Would it make sense, to split the game into 2 separate versions for the different consoles?

I totally agree!
Please patch EA Ufc 2 to support 4k & hdr.
I readed that its not a lot of work for the devs to do this.
At least let it be an option for those that have the new consoles and 4k television.
Its BS that there will be different fps with other players online.
At least let it be an option for the players.
Let the player choose if they want nice grapics but lower fps.
We can enable 4k & hdr for single player and Fhd 1080 if we go play online.

The XBOX One S can play games in 4k and with HDR so the same update could apply. For example, FIFA 17 will be updated for both the Pro and the S.

With that said, I think its unlikely that they will patch UFC 2 because everything indicates that they are moving forward to produce the new title. Would be cool if they did it though.

I've seen other threads, talking about this, but i don't think i've seen any dev confirmation over it.

I get that there is talks of how the game is supposed to run the same on each system due to how the engine and networking works with this game, but i kinda thought that the restrictions applied to the framerate, since it tends to change the animations. I am not sure if the resolution affects the simulation, thus making the game unplayable for 4k online.

Offline could be possible and if it's as easy as lots of news sites let us think it is when it comes to making current 1080p 30fps games, run on downscaled 4k 30fps, then i don't see why a small update like that would be completely out of the picture.

You have to understand though that naughty dog is a first party studio for sony so what they did was probably a request from sony to build support for PRO
