Bellator officially signed Mike Goldberg. How will EA UFC 3 get affected?

I don't really understand how those type of deals work, but the fact that Brock Lesnar was in EA UFC 1 but not in 2, because WWE had his rights, means there is most likely gonna be some change for the game.

However i wonder, how will this be approached for EA UFC 3?

How will this affect the commentary of EA UFC 3? Will Goldberg still be in it, since he has so many pre-recorded lines with Rogan discussing stuff with him or is that out of the question since he officially signed with the competitors of UFC?

How do these things play out? Will they re-invite Rogan & Cormier & a bunch of other commentators that vary from UFC Fight Night etc. and put them all in the game?

Will they all mostly have specific generic dialogues that the devs guide them to record, since they haven't participated in many UFC events like the pair Rogan-Goldberg has?

There's quite a way to go before release, so I just assumed he wouldn't be in the next game. Good question, though. I'd love to get a variety of guys on commentary in UFC 3.

Wow. The UFC game commentary is gonna suck now just like the real life UFC commentary currently does. Idc what anybody says, Goldie and Rogan were the voices of the UFC and Goldies catchphrases were epic. You see someone about to be finished and your just waiting to hear Goldie screaming "it is alll over". Dude was also very passionate about what he did also and got so into it sometimes you could see it on the sidelines...i'll never forget when TJ was about to finish Barao in the 2nd fight and you saw Golberg on the sidelines so into it that he was standing out his seat zoned in and screaming lol. These two guys were the best imo...fit the UFC perfectly.

They were, but people will acclimate to new ones. Will take while though, and Hardy isn't it.

I doubt he will be in UFC 3. I figure Brian stann will be in there or maybe Cruz

They had Goldie's repetitiveness and occasional relevance of commentary down pat so it'll be tough to model the next guy.

This is my opinion as well. It makes sense practically wise (I think) because it would consume less time from each commentator.

I'm pretty sure Anik will be one of the two. He wanted to do it for UFC 2 and was actually disappointed he wasn't called to do any work for it, because they did scan him.

Sucks that Bellator signed Maurillo as well. I really wanted him in the UFC commentating booth. He's underrated as a commentator.

I just can't see it being the same and am totally bummed out! I have to believe just about everyone that has played the game has found themselves cracking up all alone at some crazy hour listening to his great lines like after a Thai knee knockdown="Simply vicious" or the infamous "and a knee!" There are so many that no matter how many times you hear them you just got to laugh. Seriously going to miss that voice.
