Has anyone ever been banned for cheating in EA UFC 2?

Has and can anyone got banned in EA UFC 2? Specifically for cheating?(Lagswitching/exploiting/glitching)

Not asking about offensive created fighters, although i wouldn't mind finding out on how are they dealt as well.

If so, how are they getting banned?(online ban, fighter ban, temporary ban) and who authorizes/decides such a ban? (Playstation Support, Xbox Support, EA support)

Just wondering if there is any action being taken at all, especially when you consider people blatantly cheating on the Ultimate Team mode, which has money involved, as it's a pay-to-win/gambling addiction based mode.

I swear I was banned once, but I might be confused. I quit a match, and I guess having quit another match recently I was banned from online play for like an hour or more.

This was quite some time ago, and it's possible it was a dream

I know one of the devs banned a certain youtuber / streamer for having a Nazi created fighter.

He went into his Twitch chat and told him he was a dev and to get rid of the CAF... the guy pretty much told him to **** off. A few minutes later he was temp banned

Yeah, but what is a temp ban?

Temporary ban from accessing online? Temporary ban from accessing Ultimate Team? Temporary ban on the character? And how long is temporary?

I get accused of cheating because I have a 100 ovr caf. True story.

There was one guy on YouTube and Twitch who figured out how to bug out the game to get roster fighter skins into UT (not the whole fighter like he claimed, just the skin) and was charging people money to find out how to do it. Not sure if he ever got banned. I know the guy with the skinhead CAF was.

As much as I want this franchise to move over to PC, the one great thing about it being console exclusive to this point is that all we really have to worry about are glitchers and exploiters, both of which can fairly easily be patched out. True cheating is very hard to do in this kind of locked-down proprietary setting.

Past 2 months, i've started playing Ultimate Team. I've met actual cheaters and they seem to be abusing an exploit/glitch, which gets them on top of the weekly scoreboards and gets them automatic wins via 100% exploiting. They don't even have to play and abuse a game mechanic and they get an automatic win with this particular exploit.

I posted about this glitch on this forum, on a different thread, it was a guy Gr0--Lar, who has various aliases, such as GrO*-Lar, GrO__Lar etc. , his in-game created fighter name is Takamura Win for the HW division. He keeps turning on a lagswitch, which crashes the game, he disconects and he ends up winning and costing you the fight & increasing your leave rate %.

If you look him up on youtube, you'll see people reporting him since January, but nothing has happened to him yet. He still has a div8 fighter with over 5000 wins, everything maxed out and if you fight him, he is just blatantly gameruining/trolling, not even attempting to win the game and spamming strikes on the air/taunts until he gasses out, because he knows, he cannot lose, as he'll abuse that glitch as soon as you knock him down or rock him/attempt to submit him and he'll always have time to use it, since there is a delay for the celebration to kick in and the fight finish to register.

Once he glitches: The game will pause for ~15 seconds, having the icon "Waiting for opponent" until it ends the game, giving you the quit option, because connection to opponent was lost and you are instantly back on the Ultimate Team screen and you see on the bottom right corner, you just lost the most recent fight to him. (not on the main menu screen where the Servers are down message appears) When you go to the fight history tab, it shows under the Win Method "(empty space)"

I've got over 10 videos of the guy saved with ps4 share, uploaded 2 of them on my last thread(that got locked and shut down). On one of the videos that i have saved, while the game runs fine with no lag/delay etc. he blatantly turns on a lagswitch after the round ends and he immidietly starts spamming takedowns/submissions the next round, which are impossible to defend at the rate he turns his lagswitch on. Somehow i survived that, i KO'ed him and he casually caused the game to pause for 10 seconds, before he Dc'ed and won again.

TLDR; There is a well-known glitcher in Ultimate Team, who has been cheating for over a year, he disconnects from a game and you end up with a loss, he ends up with a win, your leave rate % increases because of that glitch as well. He constantly is number one on the weekly/monthly leaderboards because of that glitch that makes it impossible for him to get a loss.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an efficient method to report those blatant cheaters, as the game doesn't have any fail-safe systems for such Lagswitch/Disconnect glitches.

IF you don't wanna waste time reading my explanation of the glitch, i'll leave this here for you: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...--LAR+ea+ufc+2

He's not the only one that does this, and neither is EA UFC 2 the only game in which it happens. Tekken 6 and TTT2 had a notorious cheater called S_H_A_D_O_W_T_R who did the exact same thing. He did it by using a wireless router with an antenna, and whenever he was close to losing he would swivel the antenna, causing network disruption but not enough packet loss for it to be an instant disconnect. The game would then interpret it as a network error and registering the fight as "never happened". Pretty sure GR0_LAR does the same thing. It shows up as a "loss" on your record but doesn't actually increase your losses or your DNF%, it's as if the fight never happened and it's a "ghost" result. It did count as a loss when he did it against me in the as my first opponent in the latest LEC though , I don't know why EA doesn't take action.

This was my opinion on that issue on the beginning. I thought it didn't matter, but i randomly stumbled upon his name being in the top 10 weekly/monthly/all time on the Ultimate Team leaderboards, by having something like ~300 wins this month and only 10 loses. ( 10 times he doesn't do the lagswitch properly?) Either way, he is cheating his way up to the leaderboards

and considering he is doing it in all of his fights against me(over 10) and in all of his fights, he doesn't even try to win, but rather prolong the fight, then after a couple of rounds he'll use it, i think it most likely counts for him + gives him points as well.
