so far 2 games online and grappling feels the same.

YES!!!!!!! I can still hold ppl down, but striking will take some time. Feels weird at first.

I love that the ps4 controller turns different colors. Orange and Red so far. Nice touch. I remember tons of ppl asking for this during the glory days of UFC 2.

Just jumping in a striking is awkward as hell, I keep feinting by accident or moving backwards when I dont mean to, still dunno how to do teeps or anything lol

Hey y'all.

So i'm new of this forum, but I've been reading you guys for a few weeks now. (and I hate myself for not finding this forum earlier, cause you guys know both mma and video game, and you're all passionate, I had a blast reading all those pages about possible improvment to the game, strategy and ****)

I've been an mma fan for a long time, and I played every single mma game since Undisputed 2009.
I came home to find a nice email, so I created this account to give feedback. I'm downloading the beta atm.

Can't wait to get brutally knocked out !

Alright so one thing I'm having a problem with is sprinting. It seems different for each camera angle. I double tap the left to stick to sprint and hold but because the camera swivels around while sprinting my fighter will randomly stop. You guys will have to try it for yourself and let me know if that makes sense.

After playing a few games....

* Stand up game is a blast.

* Strikes in general feel a lot more fluid, on the ground, too. You can "feel" them better than in UFC 2.

* Game looks good. Going past one round and seeing the "shine" on fighter models is impressive. Screenshots really didn't do the fighter models justice, it all looks great in-game.

* Recycling from UFC 2 = sigh. Way too much in terms of presentation, or ground game is recycled from UFC 2. Made me sad since the stand up feels so fresh.

* Takedowns still way too easy to land or deny. I can't wait until they properly implement their new momentum stuff into the takedown/clinch game, because it all feels too effortless like this as the player.

This game is actually really fun, so far so good on my end. Being great at the grappling is huge. It shows me a lot of ppl playing the beta still suck at the ground game.
