Im glad you posted this video. That is the go to combo i’ve seen a lot of ppl start to do now. I saw only a few ppl doing this and now i’ve seen more ppl try this over and over. A lot of Barboza users do this.

I disagree, it shouldn't have the same, it just shouldn't take all the windup off. If it was the same that combo would be useless because you'd get 1-2'd between the jab and the kick. Personally, I haven't had too many issues with this combo (I've been playing Barboza almost exclusively though, so maybe I've just had the stats to win trades) because you can step into the kick and counter with a 3-2 pretty reliably. Like, don't try to throw through the kick, block the jab, step forward as they kick, eat the kick, 3-2. Being having pretty good success.

Kicks in generally need a little more wind up off just a jab though, just do think there should be a speed advantage for setting it up better. Like, it could be this fast if you went 2-3 body kick. It's especially bad for Barboza's wheelkick. If anyone ever misses a body kick you can throw backing up jab-wheelkick and KO 9 times out of 10

Yeah, I figured out this already. but it is NOT OP due to the body damage. and body kick speed looks good. they should not reduce body kick speed. I'd like to add body kick check like legs one. and add more stamina tax to these set up over and over.

The most OP thing about this combo, is how the kick is not grabable or the window to grab it, is very small(I never cought one, despite playing against cheesers and expecting that combo every single time)

So if they make it grababable, i think people will think twice before spamming them, just like leg kicks. (too easy to check them , which is great)

Against a good Khabib's player, you should be careful with those kicks to not be taken down on side control.

i tried it recording with the AI, and there is no way to catch the kick, no matter the timing.

even if you slip the jab you cannot catch the kick...i think this is the only fix needed.

Agreed. Dont make the combo slower. Just give me a chance to counter it.

Just a small tip to help deal with this, same time counter the jab. Stand still, slip outside and throw a 2-3. Obviously risky and requires some timing, but it's been doing pretty well for me. I do agree that it should be catchable though

they either need to make the kick slightly slower throwing it moving forward or they need to make the counter window slightly bigger.

All you have to do it jab body kick then mix up with a flurry to the head then back to jab body kick.
