One of the best things the EA UFC series has ever done and it has yet to make it's return when we need something like this in UFC3.

I disagree with this and would much rather have the block meter give out quicker.

Also I'd like my opponents stamina hiddena dn damage.

Yeah I feel like block needs to stay as it is for GA purposes.
Wouldn't mind the block breaking a bit easier on the ground. From the admittedly few times I've been there it did seem rather difficult to get a finish.

I'd just rather have something measurable that we can tangibly see especially when it when it comes to our mount block.

maybe... you looking for this??? YES!!! We absolutely need it. It was very realistic and great thing. but i don't understand why they removed it. Now and UFC2 was every fight ended with knockout animation on the ground. its so bad.

Absolutely bring that back,That’s what the game is missing greatly these TKO scenes gives it a sense of realism that just doesn’t exist now with TKO’s

Agreed!!!

It would prevent a lot of stallling situations since the person on botton would be forced to move.

Also the timer for standups shouldnt reset from fakes or when the guy on bottom denies.

the arm trap is wonky so i think most people jsut blocking then getting enough ga to transistion back to half guard. It becomes a staring contest if the DOM guy doesnt throwing, sure he is racking up control time but its not realistic.

Why give players a win for not actually finishing you??

If you have full health and are blocking Bigg C shouldn't get a auto win just because he can hold you down.

So happy they removed it.

Because just laying there and blocking isnt intelligenty defending yourself.

Learn how to play the game and you wont be stuck just blocking

I think the argument would be that the game can't really replicate Rockhold-Weidman type GnP, and that this would make what's a terrible strategy IRL a terrible strategy in game

Trust me i know how to play the game lol. If the guy is rocked and falls down and you are wailing on him, yes i could see a finish, if you both have full health and he is just punching your block, the ref should not stop the fight.

Unfortunately this is a game so we can't have all the nuances a real fight would have with intelligent defense.
