Re: Fictional Fight Camps Confirmed
I MUCH prefer fictional camps. Brian said each camp will have a roster of UFC fighters you can train with, should really give a team feel when you make it to the UFC. He said one of the beginner gyms is the one Andre Bishop trains at in Fight Night Champion. Joining that guym costs 3k and then 600 per week for fight camp (you can set the length of your camp to learn/train/ spar and promote). Really like the sound of this.Comment

Re: Fictional Fight Camps Confirmed
Yupp, in context. In this, they have a chance to make fantasy camps with different UFC fighters that you might choose a camp because your favourite fighters are there over its discipline/price. If there was to be 8 real camps in this, you would only have a handful of fighters in each camp and a lot of the champs atm aren't part of the big gyms and might be left out. For what they are showing of career so far, it looks like fictional gyms will suit it better.
Obviously in a perfect world, real gyms would be ideal, we would have SBG and Artem would be on the front cover.Comment

Re: Fictional Fight Camps Confirmed
Weirdly, I prefer fictional ones, as well, as it gives more freedom to design the camps as focusing on specific styles and being balanced. You can probably mix in more actual UFC fighters, this way, as the other dude said.Comment

Re: Fictional Fight Camps Confirmed
Would be potentially upsetting to real fighters if those who were in certain camps got moved around in game. It's a lighter version of why the game doesn't have suspensions for banned substances. EA don't want to start no ****.Comment

Re: Fictional Fight Camps Confirmed
UD3 had real fight camps.
Just saying.
Also,
Man,
...the way fight camps worked in that game was amazing. They way you had to seriously plan out what gym youd join, and at what time during your career. What moves youd learn before commiting to a gym, and what each gym could offer you.
I had entire spreadsheets made out to try and figure out the most optimum way & time to learn new moves, and train attributes.
Career in that game was amazing.PSN: Lord__Hazanko
