I laid out a series of conditions under which I wouldn't buy UFC 3. I'll consider it breach of contact if my conditions aren't met.

I'm not feeling the lower half. The upper half is great. Wish my 4k tv was HDR.

It doesn't really look much different on my 4k HDR OLED

Than what, standard 4k? I have HDR+ but it's not real hdr, it's just called hdr+ to fool people lol.

If your TV is capable of HDR+ it's likely capable of standard HDR10

It's not. HDR+ is just fancy processing. It's a Samsung entry level 4k thing.

No HDR+ is dynamic metadata mode similar to Dolby Vision. It's just Samsung's version being that they don't want to pay for the Dolby license. Your TV definitely supports HDR10 as well.

My LG has so called "Active HDR" LED. Of course OLED is better as well, but it suits my purposes. I haven't picked up the X1X yet, but apparently it will support the HDR feature on the console.

My PlayStation won't do HDR on it.

Did you enable HDR on your HDMI ports?


"take a trip to picture/expert settings/HDMI UHD color. In this option, bizarrely, you actually need to manually enable HDR support for each of the HDMI ports on the screen (the KS7000 has four, but mileage will vary depending on the display)."


Then you have to restart your console and enable HDR in the PS4 video settings

When I enable uhd color to picture drops and says no input, won't come back until I turn uhd color back off. HDR option set to automatic I think.

I gives up. Thanks for assistance though.

Thumbs up, that did the trick. Lots of weird menus in the cheapo Samsung.

Glad I could help - also make sure you enable game mode as well for the lowest input lag possible on your set.


Also ensure that the backlight is maxed out only when viewing HDR content

This game looks like utter trash , the player models look terrible , the game play is essentially the same as UFC2 , I am surprised this game has any Pre Orders , Bellator should go to THQ and get a game made!
