Submission Chains?

I have only ever seen one chain with Nate Diaz from triangle to armbar.

Do other fighters have submission chains?

How can we tell? I checked Nate's move list and don't see it mentioned anywhere.

I think it's just one of those things that arent really set in stone, you just take advantage of when it when the oppurtunity comes 🤷🏽*♂️

When a fighter can do it, he can always do it. Cerrone and Ortega also have that chain. I think the fighter needs to have the starting submission at at least level 3, so it can chain.

Nogueira has several level 3 moves and none of his chain which is blasphemous. He should be able to chain a triangle to arm bar.

But are his level 3 ones submissions that have a chain? If so, then I'd suppose I'd be wrong about the criteria of lvl 3.

Nope none of them are and that should change in my opinion

Nog should definitely have either lvl 3 or 4 for both Triangles and Armbars, they were the dudes bread and butter.

That armbar he caught Cro Cop with was some wizard level ****.

Yeah he has level 3 for both currently but all of them are 4 stage subs with the exception of the armbar catch from stacked guard.

It's frustrating as he probably has more arm bar and triangle wins than anyone.

Ah, then yeah he should definitely be buffed up to Lvl4 for both of those, 100%.

I think I noticed he has the triangle from guard arm trap now, which is nice, it was jarring when he had an omoplata off arm catch but no triangle.

I also wish there was a Triangle to Triangle armbar and possibly vice versa submission chains, its essentially the same move, Maia is pro at it, they go to roll out and he rolls with them into a conventional triangle or mounted triangle, he did it to Chael and.. Ed Herman? Was it? I can't recall. The dude who he had in the mounted triangle, had the arm locked up, and was punching him in the face at the same time like a wizard.

I’m still struggling a bit with getting out of subs , but especially if they change up on me , but does anyone know if CAF have them and FTF subs?
Still haven’t seen CAF scenarios of FTF subs ?
